Uzbekneftegaz: Primary gas treatment unit built and put into operation at Buzakhur field
According to UzDaily, at the Buzakhur gas condensate field of the Shurtan Oil & Gas Production Department of Uzbekneftegaz, a primary gas treatment unit was built and put into operation in a short time.
This project was implemented on the instructions and initiative of the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz in order to increase the volume of hydrocarbon production at the field and eliminate hydraulic resistance in gas pipelines.
In addition, delivery to the Shurtan head facility for processing natural gas extracted from wells was ensured, as well as stable operation of the gas transmission system. Available internal resources were used to reduce the costs of the project.
In particular, the separator, liquid separator and ventilator required for the installation were brought from the Mubarek gas processing plant. During the construction of the device, 2 unused tanks, pipes of different sizes, ball valves and valves of the Shurtan Oil & Gas Production Department were also involved.
Construction and installation works were fully performed by the capital construction department of the Shurtan Oil & Gas Production Department.
Thanks to the efficient work of qualified specialists and employees of Uzbekneftegaz and management, a primary gas treatment device was built and put into operation at the Buzakhur field in the shortest possible time.
As a result of the launch, natural gas production from the fields of the Buzakhur group was increased by 200 thousand cubic meters per day due to a decrease in resistance in the pipelines of the gas supply system. The Buzakhur field is located in Kashkadarya region and was commissioned in 2001.
