據(jù)石油新聞2020年9月9月迪拜報(bào)道，伊拉克石油部長(zhǎng)Ihsan Ismaael日前在與總部位于約旦的伊拉克商業(yè)委員會(huì)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)直播中表示，伊拉克時(shí)下正在與意大利石油巨頭埃尼公司就在伊拉克南部祖拜爾油田附近建造一個(gè)具有日加工30萬(wàn)桶原油能力的的煉油廠進(jìn)行談判，這個(gè)新建煉油廠預(yù)計(jì)將耗資40億美元。

Ihsan Ismaael在9月7日舉行的網(wǎng)絡(luò)直播中說(shuō)，這個(gè)項(xiàng)目的第一階段包括到2025年前試運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)15萬(wàn)桶/天。

Iraq in talks with Italy's ENI to build $4 billion refinery near Zubair field

Iraq is in talks with ENI to build a 300,000 b/d refinery at an estimated cost of $4 billion near the Zubair oil field operated by the Italian company in the southern part of the country, the oil minister told a webcast with Jordan-based Iraqi Business Council.

The first phase of the project includes commissioning 150,000 b/d by 2025, Ihsan Ismaael said in the webcast posted online on Sept. 7.

ENI couldn't be immediately reached for comment.

ENI currently operates the Zubair oil field with a 41.56% stake, alongside partners South Korea's Kogas with 23.75%, state-owned Basra Oil Co. with 29.69% and another state partner with 5%, according to its website.

Zubair is set to produce 700,000 b/d by 2027, Ismaael said, without disclosing current production levels.
