據道瓊斯2月2日消息，英國石油公司（BP）表示，全球石油供應充裕的年代遠未結束。據BP年度能源展望報告稱，全球范圍內從技術層面講可開采的石油儲藏非常巨大，是2050年前全球石油消費總量的兩倍之多。BP首席經濟學家Spencer Dale表示：“隨著技術的進步，全球范圍內從未被開采的技術可開采石油資源的數量或將增加。”

　　The age of ample oil supply is far from over, according to BP. According to the oil and gas giants annual energy outlook, technically recoverable oil reserves are big enough to cover global consumption out to 2050 twice over. It is increasingly likely that there will be technically recoverable oil resources which will never be extracted, says chief economist Spencer Dale.
