據國外媒體8月26日新加坡報道，根據新加坡《商業時報》，新加坡主權基金淡馬錫控股有限公司麾下的投資組合公司Pavilion能源公司25日在新加坡與印尼國家石油公司簽署了一項有關在本地區開發小規模LNG解決方案的諒解備忘錄。

　　根據諒解備忘錄，兩家公司將努力探索本地區小規模LNG項目、聯合營銷、交易、采購和投資的機會。

　　Pavilion能源公司的一名發言人對《商業時報》記者說，這項諒解備忘錄將支持雙方在開發本地區能源解決方案中的利益并促進兩家公司之間更緊密合作。

　　市場消息人士對Rigzone說，印尼時下正在尋求開發小規模的LNG解決方案來滿足國內對天然氣不斷增加的需求。小規模LNG解決方案提供的靈活性可以在一定程度上滿足印尼沒有管網連接的偏僻地區的天然氣需求。

Pavilion Energy Pte Ltd., a portfolio firm of Singapores sovereign fund Temasek Holdings (Pte) Ltd., inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) Thursday with Indonesias national oil company PT Pertamina to develop small scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) solutions in the region, according to Singapores Business Times.

Under the MOU, both companies will work to explore opportunities in regional small-scale LNG projects, joint marketing, trading, procurement and investments.

This MOU supports the parties interests in developing energy solutions in the region, and fosters closer collaboration between the two parties, a Pavilion Energy spokesman said, as quoted by Business Times.

Market sources told Rigzone that Indonesia is looking to tap small scale LNG solutions to meet rising energy needs. The flexibility offered by small scale LNG solutions could go some way to meeting local gas demand in remote areas in Indonesia that are not linked by pipeline networks.
